Housed Referral Program – Terms & Conditions
1. Overview
The Housed Referral Program (“The Program”) allows active Housed members to earn rewards by referring friends to join our community. By participating, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
- The Referrer: Must be a current, active member of Housed with no outstanding fees.
- The Referral (The Friend): Must be a new member who has never previously held a Housed subscription or account.
- All membership types are eligible, except Foundation Memberships. For the definition of a Foundation Membership, please refer to the standard Terms and Conditions of Housed, available at: https://housed.com.au/terms
3. How to Earn the Reward
For both the Referrer and the Referee to each receive two (2) weeks of free membership, the following conditions must be met:
- The Referrer must share their unique referral link obtained from their app to the Referee, or email hello@housed.com.au and share their friend's details to claim.
- The Referee must sign up for a membership using that specific link/code or mention the Referrer's name upon joining.
- Both the Referrer and the Referee must remain members past the 14-day cooling-off period.
- Both the Referrer and the Referee must pay the Digital Key fee. For the definition of the Digital Key fee, please refer to the standard Terms and Conditions of Housed, available at: https://housed.com.au/terms
- Both the Referrer and the Referee must make two (2) fortnightly payments.
4. The Reward
- The Reward: Once eligibility is confirmed, both the Referrer and the Referee will each receive a credit equal to two (2) weeks of their respective current membership rate, applied to their next billing cycle.
- Limit: There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer; however, credits cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable.
- Credits: If multiple referees sign up in one month, the Referrer's credits will be applied consecutively (e.g., 2 referees = 4 weeks free).
5. Privacy Policy
By submitting this form, you confirm you have the referee's consent to share their details.
- Housed will contact the Referee and provide the option to opt out of any future communication.
6. Restrictions & Fair Play
Housed reserves the right to void any rewards if we suspect fraudulent activity. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Creating multiple accounts for the same person.
- Using “bot” services or spamming referral links on public coupon sites.
- Any activity that violates the spirit of a “friend-to-friend” recommendation.
7. Termination and Changes
Housed reserves the right to modify, pause, or end the Referral Program at any time. Any credits already earned and “pending” at the time of termination will be honoured.
8. Acceptance
By participating The Program, you understand and accept these Program Terms & Conditions. You acknowledge and agree that upon purchasing a Membership through this Promotion, you will be bound by the standard Terms and Conditions of Housed, available at: https://housed.com.au/terms
